FlameChecker is a new flame suppression sheet which fits easily to most models of flat bed laser cutter/engravers and enables any flame-outs of the work piece to be smothered and extinguished quickly and safely.
Dimensions: 800mm long fully extended x 400 mm wide
Storage: Designed to be stored on the front surface of the laser cutter without any box or bag enclosure so the sheet(s) can be easily deployed either individually or all together immediately there is the slightest uncontrolled flaming of the substrate being lasered.
FlameChecker flame suppression sheets:

Immediately stop flames from spreading when flammable substrates are ignited by lasers by snuffing out the source of the flames.

Prevent the flames from being fanned by the extract air, by acting as a barrier between the seat of the fire and the extraction slot.

Smother toxic fumes produced by the fire.

Allow the extract system to continue to extract fugitive fumes from the fire.

Act as a protective barrier against flames and heat between the fire and the student, teacher or technician.

In many cases allow the work piece to be salvaged.

Prevent damage to the laser lens, carriages, guides, drive belts, stepper or servo motors.

Can be easily removed from the laser to act as fire suppression blankets if small fires occur elsewhere in the classroom or workshop.
